Tonight we joined together to celebrate as well as question the swirl of both magnificent and ambivalent feelings of our country’s New President.
We dissected thoughts such as, “Should I listen to the news” and “Why is everyone acting like Obama is the Savior?” and “How do we keep the momentum for Peace going?”
Here are just a few of the comments/questions:
| Carolyn-Chicago Going forward everyone must learn to forgive. What is forgiveness? It is the process of letting go of thoughts and feelings that someone or something has control over you. Forgiveness is giving love for anger, peace for conflict, and understanding for critical judgement. Forgiveness has nothing to do with anyone else but yourself. It is not letting someone else “off the hook.” It is simply letting go of the thoughts that block the inflow of good in your life. It is indeed up to us to make a difference in this world Thanks you for this opportunity to start the process, so I now forgive myself.. |

| Tanya -Sarasota Great leaders of higher consciousness inspire other great leaders of higher consciousness. It is up to us as inspired great leaders to not be better than others but create a group consciousness that is higher or better than the group consciouness of negativity. This is what I tend to follow as I help create teams internationally and inspire others to be great leaders in both personal and professional life. I use my knowingness of my own connection to keep me in alignment. |

| Carolyn -Chicago Comment: I feel very strongly that for many years our government and it’s officials have not been for or about the people. The election of Barack Obama has given us hope that we now have a leader that not only understands the challenges that we are facing, but listened to us as he campaigned. You are right when you said that it will take a collective consciousness to keep our country strong. All of us now have an opportunity to take an active role in how our country is run. We must continue to pray for our leaders and one another to help us overcome the various odds that we face in our everyday lives. |
| heidi-ventura Hi there,…I am a young grandmother of a tri-racial baby…and couldn’t be more proud………..anyway about the subject………Since yesterday I have been in this sort of incubation period up in my room….clearing my space internally, and I am waiting for something ….maybe it is this seminar but I am just not ready to enter the world and be normal again…I meditate every morning and balancing my own life and hoping that this will start to reflect out to the world. By the way I woke up this morning with this feeling of clear & cool energy that I felt from our new presidentail covering….I don’t think much about politics and don’t watch much of the news…..but I woke with this feeling spiritually and emotionally without outside input…..maybe you can comment? |
| Tami-Winston-Salem I lost my job last Aug. I have tried to stay positive and know that Source is going to take care of me- I tried to act like it was life as usual- not acting like my money was gonna run out- etc….I did finally land a new job- I start 2/2 - but I do not get a paycheck until 2/19, I was turned down today for a loan trying to refinance my car so I can have lower pmts- my unemployment payments have not started - fear is taking over- I have no income! What can I do? I did have to take an 18K cut in pay but I am thnking that I have my foot in the door at a great place and hope to move up in the future! |

| Susan-NYC Anisa - HI I have an ISSUE and i feel really bad about it and it is:: Why don’t I feel so Happy, so Excited, So overjoyed and SO wonderful about Obama. I do understand that people are excited and it is history in the maing but I just feel its SO overboard- and can we not put this man on a pedestal like he is a saviour. I so do not want to have this attitude and I am hoping it will change over time. Personally I do think he is a good person and means well but I am concerned with this overall “he can do no wrong and he is our saviour” I just feel no matter who you are when you are put in that position its not healthy. And i do understand from a creation point to be positive and conscious creation -power in numbers. anyway this is what i am having a hard time with and would like to be more open and non judgemential towards this issue. Obama Inauguration - Exalted Example of our Collective Consciousness Revolution

Today’s a very special day indeed! I just watched the inauguration and as tears strolled down my face, my daughter (home with a tummy-ache today), asked me, “Why are you crying, mama? I thought you were happy about Obama?”
I said, “I am happy! I’m soooo very happy!”
I’m crying because I believe the time of Conscious Responsibility is finally here. And, we (you, me, and every spiritual, hopeful, courageous, and loving person on the planet) both intentionally and unintentionally used the law of attraction to create this day.

Conscious seekers and light-workers have been aligning with ‘Truth’ for many, many years now. This has been one of those ‘Creative’ efforts that required the Marathon persistence, patience, resilience, and fortitude to continue in spite of what ‘reality’ might suggest.
Think that now that Obama is taking office that we can sit back and let the “President” do his job? Think again. Conscious Responsibility means digging deep and stepping into our role as light-bearers. And sometimes peaceful but determined ‘rabble-rousers’!
Commanding with our words and deeds Peace and Love as our primary experience, intention, and recognition. From this place, we support the shedding of archaic practices of isolation and discrimination and summon instead the integration of our personal body, mind, and souls with not only our higher-selves but our human-partners both those known and unknown, familiar and feared. It is with this vision that we hold sacred that it shall come to pass (and already is.)
